Timed Release Protein and Biological Availability – Urea is better utilised when fed in a liquid due to QLF’s unique “Timed Release” protein which degrades in the rumen over a similar time period to soya. The soluble forms of phosphorus and trace minerals and vitamins are also more available and more uniformly mixed when added within a liquid supplement.

Liquid Feeds For Dairy

The high quality molasses base of QLF Dairy supplements provides a source of rapidly available carbohydrate (sugar) which is readily utilised by rumen microbes to enhance rumen function. Into this base QLF can add proteins, oils, vitamins and minerals and can customise any liquid to suit a herd’s particular requirements.

Our Dairy products are designed to be mixed in TMR’s, top dressed onto feeds and forage, or poured onto silage, hay or straw.

1. Sugar & protein products
These supplements combine high levels of sugar with soluble protein and are ideal in rations needing either high levels of supplemental protein or sources of soluble protein, where other ration protein sources are high by-pass. These products increase rumen efficiency by supplying rumen micro-organisms with a constant supply of energy and non-protein nitrogen.

2. Sugar, protein & palm oil products
These products aid in balancing rations requiring soluble protein and supplemental energy from palm oil.
